Not only does he identify your areas of discomfort, but he also ensures you feel completely at ease while addressing your muscle issues. Sometimes there are moments where universes align or spill into existence. Not only has my physical body experienced trauma but my soul and its past have held onto and evolved through generations of trauma through DNA. This doesn't have to match spirituality or religion. Everyone, every body, every soul of generations deserves the space to heal and be vulnerable. To release and relax. To transform muscle memory of pain into new patterns. Monty heard everything. He listened and understood. He validated and spoke through the pain of the release. He is reaffirming and gentle in his movements. The space he has created is safe. The energy is inviting. After one session I got off the table and could lift my leg across my other to put my socks on with no strain, not a flinch. Although this may seem small it's been a very long time since I can remember lifting my legs so freely. You can come to Monty just looking for a massage but he is dedicated to the mission of freeing people's bodies from learned and passed on pain. He is open and honest and genuinely not only believes in the work he is doing he stands firm knowing that it can transform a life and a body. If you are willing to put in the work he is there to match and push you. A wonderful person to go to. I hope this review meets the eyes of folks looking to relieve their body from pain.
